Here we go with more asinine, ignorant, puerile comments about black people accusing them of never showing their gratitude to white folks for being in America says J.D Vance about Kamala Harris, which is nothing more than racial poppycock and the same old tired storyline of white male foolishness.
The fact is black people have always been called to show appreciation when America has often shown no appreciation for their unconditional loyalty, sacrifices, and hard work while whipped and beaten during 350 years of hard-core raced-based slavery which was one of the most dehumanizing and repulsive chattel systems in the history of humankind.
Black people have fought in America’s wars of freedom when they didn’t have freedom themselves. In Jim Crow they endured false arrests, lynching, rape, police brutality, murder and a whole litany of other insults and injuries too numerous to name here but continue to this hour with a black woman recently shot in her face in her own home by an outraged Illinois Sheriff who first lied and said she died by a self-inflicted gunshot wound. This sad diabolicalism happens too frequently in our country.
Furthermore, throughout our history as Dr. Carolyn Anderson has so extensively chronicled, any deserved advances that black people have made were torn away during Reconstruction, Affirmative Action, and other pogroms of social and economic deprivation because of white rage and resentment and policies that perpetually lied and chronically denied their right to full freedoms in a country that they helped build and make wealthy through American race-based slavery. And why, why why are we still talking about granting voting rights to African Americans when we already had them? While black people have made many advances over many years, the same old song and dance persists about what we have not done and how happy we ought to be to have had good white folks allow us entry into this country to have a life.
Notwithstanding non-violent work stoppages and shortages says Herbert Aptheker as rightful protests against that “peculiar institution” so coined by Kenneth Stampp, black folks mostly served well their cruel and ungrateful masters as white babies suckled the breasts of black mammies and black men worked themselves nearly to death in the fields, got sick and tired, ran away, were chased down by slave patrols, severely beaten, mauled and mutilated by vicious dogs, castrated, lynched and called everything but a child of God.
Now Mr. Vance you along with some other white men still have this false notion that black folks need to show more appreciation to white folks for being in America by kissing y’all’s rings when many white people have not shown a damn bit of appreciation for the things we have done to make America a great nation. America has never formally apologized for slavery and has never empaneled a Truth and Reconciliation Commission created for black and white South Africans and in Canada for Indigenous, First Nation Peoples. And Lord help us if we mention the word, “reparations,” after all that has been taken from African Americans? And through it all, the same feeling persists that whenever we clamor or agitate for our god-given rights, there are always white folks who want to push us back and snatch it all away. Enter Donald J. Trump with his revival politricks of hatred.
So here we go with the Hillbilly Shinola from a man who should have used his head for something other than a hat rack. Here we go with the same clap-trap, the ignominious foul-mouthing, the flagrant, effusion of imperial chastisements by an uppity white man who has the same gynophobic malevolence against dignified, intelligent, strong black women and women in particular; a woman by the way who will be our next President of the United States.
You need to watch your sassin’ boy. Don’t you know who you talkin to? Dat woman raised you, fed you, loved and nursed you, put bandaids on your scrapes, oil on your deep cuts and scratches, wiped sweat from your brow with hankies to keep the saltwater of all your cry babying from getting into your bright blue eyes and then she put you to bed every night. You better watch it. That’s yo mama you talking to.
Mind your manners, son. Get a grip. All y’all Republicans are going down the wrong psycho paths again. Stop the asininity and buffoonery. Quit trafficking with the Cretins and Grobians. Quit stretchin’ the labels on the cans. Are the only cards you have in your hands race cards? Damn, ya’ll need a serious reintroduction to reality and a makeover to get in touch with life in real-time today! What time zone you living in? When you gonna quit living in your “Oh No Zone for Negroes” time zone?
Why y’all still sponsoring those same 1950s floor shows and sideshows to make America great again? Where have you been man because when all is said and done where you have been is really where you are going. You need a Great Awakening to feel the heat and see the light because you want to take America back to the old days. You are headed back where you came from. You’re still out of touch; lost on the street you looking for. You Republicans need to come out from under your rocks. You are way too out of touch with present-day America to win anything let alone another Presidential Election.
Be a real man show up right and be for real this time instead of all your nonsense. What you doing and the way you say it don’t make you no man. It shows what size you are when you disrespect a real woman to try to feel better.
I know you got better training in Appalachia and Øheeo than that. Some good people there. You need to be holding high another standard. You spose to be from the heart of it all, not a man who keeps folks questioning if you have a heart at all.
You know better. You don’t have to be a Toadie to feel froggish. You are a big disappointment son, having gone to Yale and serving your country in the Marine Corps. Your legacy is better than the bottom-feeding tripe you keep hauling and hurling at the folks not responsible for your miseries, sentiments or conditions. You’ve come a long way baby. You even married a good woman with shades of chocolate, but you still got a mighty distance to go if you keep shucking the way you shucking and babbling the way you babbling.
So quit attacking folks you don’t know anything about. Quit wasting your talent with the bubbleheads, man.
Be polite to our future president. There may be a job waiting for you if you get it right. And remember Hitler is still Hitler and was all the way Hitler to the end; he never changed even till his last days in the bunker. Donald Trump will never change until the end. He is what he is and ain’t what he ain’t. Can a leopard change his spots? Get with the plan and the new program and quit the trash talking and get to freedom walking for everybody in our great country. That’s who America is and that’s where America is going. Can you dig it? Come on J.D. America needs to really, truly add vance.
