“Time to Take Off the Gloves With a Knockout Vote to Trump and the Republicans at the Polls this November!”

November 5, 2024, will be the most important election in the history of our Democratic Constitutional Republic. It will determine if America will continue to live and grow as one of the most important Representative Democracies in the free world or perish as a Totalitarian Fascist Authoritarian Gulag ruled by tyrants, grifters, gutbuckets and demagogues.
If you are black or the “others,” don’t be so narrow as to waste your vote by not casting it for Kamala Harris simply because she is a woman or you falsely believe that “she is not one of us.” Too much is riding on it.
Also, don’t fall for the Trump “Oke-Doke,” thinking that he will not come after you just because you voted for him or that he intends to look out for your best interests if elected to a second term.
Trump has proven time and again that he doesn’t care about anyone but himself. Please don’t think that because Vice President Kamala Harris is a strong female, she is not tough enough to rumble with her political opponents and adversaries, foreign and domestic, to lead America back to a better and greater destiny. She’s educated, classy, and possesses the common touch. She is a taxi-tested leader who has experienced her share of bumps, bruises and hard knocks. Wise, intelligent, compassionate and empathetic, she will listen to the people and become one of the best Presidents of the United States of America we’ve ever had.
I believe that America will see better days if the right leadership rises among us. As our country moves out of the present political malaise, it will be back to a nation of unity and strength dedicated to stabilizing common ground, respecting common interests, and building the common good. Kamala Harris is capable of leading America there.
We must thus unlearn and shake off the gook and mess heaped on us by the snake oil ex-president and relearn what it means to be civil, semi-sane, totally sane, and humane in setting things right again in this country, especially after crock pots and garbage cans of lies, treachery, bigotry, and skulduggery have been thrown in our faces by kleptocrats, billionaires and feckless Republican errand boys.

While America is not perfect, it remains the best place in the world. Ask people who come here seeking a better life; once they get here, they never want to leave.
Let us also not take for granted the many blessings and opportunities still available in a nation that, however imperfect, is still striving, for better or worse, to fulfill its promises of liberty and justice for all.
Friends, if we lose America, we lose virtually everything, as Project 2025 and other Trump pogroms have promised. And if Democrats lose this November election, the American State as we know it will be dismantled and dissolved, which means the cherished and hard-won freedoms for which many have so nobly fought, bled, and died may be forever lost.
The man who claims Adolph Hitler as his inspiration may do all in his power to replicate the evil of Nazi Germany, which ultimately led to the deaths of over 160 million people during World War II, including six million Jewish people exterminated in Nazi death camps. I don’t give a tinkers damn what anybody says, timid religionists and haters included, “Evil is still evil is still evil is still evil!” And what’s been happening in America since the advent of Trump, no matter how many have tried to ignore or sidestep his maniacal adolescence, our nation has been shrouded, punctuated and saturated in evil from the insidious doublespeak manipulation of language to puerile berating of others to name calling, to lies and deceit shrouding the destructive intentions of corrupt and crazy politicians. Trump, in his selfish quest for absolute power, embodies varying forms of evil and will stop at nothing to live his shame and splatter his evil all over our country with impunity.
So what might we expect if Trump is re-elected?
The proliferation of mass deportations and political incarcerations of the so-called “Enemies Within.”
A continuing war against the dirt poor, working poor, middle class, the environment, education, labor unions, workers, men, women, children, immigrants, members of the LGBTQ+ communities, black, brown, white, Asian, Haitian, Indigenous, Hispanic, Latino, Chicano, Arab, Puerto Rican, Palestinian, people with disabilities, and many other innocents who may be persecuted and prosecuted by the tens of thousands to rid America of its so-called “Vermin”—a word both “Hitler and Trump glibly spewed with malicious malintent.
Friends, no time here to play games by living in this fantasy world that Trump will not do what he says he will do. Despite the understandable repetition of some of the Vice President’s messages, they are highly necessary for people to learn and appreciate her leadership skills and qualities and to see her in action while she and her team continue to make phenomenal inroads in netting more supporters.
But a little more fire this last week before November 5th could be added to the Harris-Democrats political playbook, which could nudge any remaining political fence straddlers and swing voters to wake up, feel the heat, and see the light. A vote for Harris instead of cowering in fear and apathy to the promised perils and terrors of Donald J. Trump if he wins a second term would send his behind back to Key Largo, oops I meant Mara Fargo or Mara Largo.
Since Donald Trump entered the political arena, his words and behavior have instigated, propagated, systemized, and sought to normalize a peculiar, soft-spoken brand of political terrorism among the American people. His hate speech is reminiscent of Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini says “Ruth Ben Ghiat in her masterpiece Strongmen. Another term in office might multiply the chances of this happening again, only this time, much worse since the Supreme Court gave him immunity. Didn’t Trump promise that it would be an all-out war against his enemies, as did Adolf Hitler?
Friends, I grew up in the great city of Detroit, Michigan, the city Trump loves to hate. Here it is that I learned the meaning of T.E.A.M, “Together Everyone Achieves More.” Sometimes, in conflict situations that could not be settled by simple conversation, we squared off in the ring, wearing boxing gloves that our coach kept handy when we couldn’t settle disputes. The feeling of being punched in the mouth and gut by an artful boxing opponent hurt like Hades. Not infrequently, we fought to a draw, took off the gloves and “got it on” with -bare-knuckle fighting that eventually drew blood as we sent or got sent crashing to the canvas. There was an art to boxing with gloves, but bare-fisted knuckle fighting often revealed what type of fighter a person was and what kind of skill he had.
Time now to take off the gloves with Donald Trump. No more dancing, prancing, trash-talking, brash mouth huckstering of wolf tickets. Time to take it to the Republican opposition for the final knockout punch to end this dreaded game of taking down American Representative Democracy and take back our country.
So, as we prepare to make the final run to the finish line and go into the final rounds of this Battle Royale, isn’t it time to take off the gloves by adding other forms of messaging or propaganda thus launching one last serious offensive, by playing to win, instead of seeming at times playing not to lose?
While civility remains a virtue and it’s good to be polite, isn’t it time for the “iron fist in the velvet glove” approach by showing video ads and other media of who Trump truly is; the political miscreant constantly unleashing unbridled terrors on the American people by his vicious threats, bald-faced lies, bullying, violence, and grievance politricks?
Time now for Democrats to up the ante by taking off the gloves and telling the truth about how Trump’s propensity for raising and creating hell with so much hate and mischief in this continuing nightmare has wreaked havoc in America. People are tired of this mess, which has gone on far too long.
The onus and severity of another four years in office must be dramatized by promises he plans to keep if re-elected and what America may finally look like if this acolyte of the Fuhrer again takes the seat of power.
Without sounding crass and not intending to offend the Jewish people whose painful memories still linger at the thought and sight of such atrocities, what I mean here is, is this not time for new ads that will scare out the Be-Jesus of people from their complacency to show what really might come into existence if Trump gets back into office?
Since Trump loves Hitler so much where are the news clippings and film footage of the Nazi terrors and persecutions, of bombs dropping, people stolen and hauled off to camps while men, women, and children were starved, burned, gassed, and shot to death at Auschwitz, Treblinka, Bergen-Belsen, Buchenwald, Dachau and other terrible places of hell here on earth?
Would showing these stories be too much for prime time? Would disseminating these images of Holocaust victims and Jewish people and the hell they went through be over the top? If so, then don’t air them. If not, why not drive home the point that we must never let such diabolical atrocities ever happen again in Germany, America, or any other part of the world to any other people in the world for any other reason in the world. It was a damnable thing, and Trump’s audacity to reference Hitler as a model of emulation is sacrilegious and outright evil– too glibly and casually uttered– which means if Trump is re-elected, it could happen here in the United States of America!
If this is too much to ask, why not juxtapose more portraits and images of Hitler and Trump? Keep making the associations between the two men and directly or indirectly, by speaking to their similarities and promises of revenge and vengeance on their enemies and how those internecine invectives precipitated the fall of the Third Reich, which Hitler predicted would last a thousand years but only lasted twelve.
People of the Lincoln Project got their ads right in the previous elections and are getting it right now. The videos they’ve aired have been meaningful and powerful, which got people’s rapt attention by scaring the Dickens out of them with cold, hard facts and the brutal truth of the terrible implications of a Trump Presidency, which made a profound and persuasive impact on viewers during the last presidential elections.
We need something more, it seems, to beat Trump and the Republicans to the mat with a final knockout blow with our votes and information wars. The Democrat media communications network must aire more footage of the terror and devastation that will come to America under another Trump regime, especially after the HateFest at Madison Square Garden this week. Now’s not the time to be tepid, vapid, or insipid, but time to be intrepid by pulling out all stops and calling these political curs out.
Some pundits are too incredulous and dismissive that such kind of terror could ever happen here. The soft language they have used to describe Trump’s behavior belies and nowhere depicts the malevolence of his spirit and the severities of the protuberance of his violence. Make no mistake. Anything is possible. As Emile Fackenheim once observed, God is on the upswing, and “to submit to cynicism is to abdicate responsibility for the world and to deliver the world into the hands of the Luciferian forces of Nazism.”
Such “terror” may make a final statement of what we may face but may galvanize complacent people to the polls to vote to save American Democracy, especially if they are still dithering about whether such atrocities can happen here in America or if a fully qualified woman can lead this country rightfully to better days. There is more than enough fodder for a blitz-press. Here are some things that Trump has already done that give us pause about his mental state, which are bonfires of the insanities, which are only the tip of the iceberg.
Assaulting and molesting women and bragging about it.
Tearing immigrant children from their parents and families.
400,000 Americans died from COVID-19 before Trump left office. His scurrilous attacks on medical science, insidious peddling of a bleach cure that led to at least one death and relentless attacks on Dr. Fauci and others who led the way to save lives to find a viable cure for this deadly pandemic.
Access to the Nuclear Launch Codes.
A virulent racist and apologist for the Alt-Right and other hate groups. “There are good people on both sides.”
Critic and Insulter in Chief of American Servicemen and women and Veterans disparaging their sacrifices and castigating them as losers.
Offering to pay the attorney fees of his white followers if they beat up a black attendant at one of his political rallies.
Attempts to influence and corrupt the Department of Justice by besmirching the character and reputation of the FBI, CIA, EPA, and other government agencies during his first term in office to normalize the devaluation and obsolescence of these institutions, good or bad, well or ill but are mostly good institutions safeguarding American Liberal Democracy at home and abroad.
Violation of the Emolument Laws in office by making money from his hotel properties by patronizing foreign leaders who stayed at his hotels and sought favors from him while in office.
Isn’t Trump a narcissist and a habitual liar?
Has Trump sold off public lands to private interests?
Isn’t Trump a traitor to America by coaxing, cajoling and possibly conning our adversaries by releasing classified information to foreign leaders and enemies of America?
Didn’t Trump illegally attempt to call out the US Military to attack and detain American citizens for protests that violated laws by politicizing the Military?
How do we know that America’s most important military and technological secrets have not been compromised or exposed by Trump to foreign leaders?
Isn’t Trump responsible for overturning and destroying Roe Vs Wade with the aid of three hand-picked members of the Supreme Court so that women are now dying and bleeding out in their automobiles because they can’t get medical care while pregnant?
Didn’t Trump plan to overthrow the American Government on January 6th where police officers were killed and other people injured? Didn’t he instigate the plot to hang the vice president because he refused to go along with the plot? Why were the “boots” only tried and jailed and not the “suits’ who masterminded the insurrection?
Tell me why haven’t these issues been disseminated, dramatized and put into forms of communication that will get the attention of the American people to ward off this menace if re-elected again?

Time to go all out, isn’t it? Enough of side stepping more draconian methods of dramatizing the evil impact this man can have who hates America and may certainly destroy it if re-elected. It’s good to build confidence and make people feel good, but there are too many volatilities and ambiguities in this man, Trump, who has proven himself thoroughly unfit for office.
The goal of politics is justice. The means and tactics of politics sometimes compel it to blood sport.
Too much is still at stake. It’s still too close to win or lose. Time to take off the gloves for a final TKO of Donald Trump on November 5th so we can take our country back and live and breathe again by electing a President and representatives who care about our country, her people, and her future.
That’s what America wants! That’s what America needs. This is not a normal election. It means the life and death of The United States of America as a guiding and beacon light for human freedom at home and abroad if Trump wins the election on November 5, 2024.
